I went through a rollercoaster of liking the beginning of the game, hating the middle of the game, and enjoying the last third of the game. The concept is interesting, the game and characters are colorful, the cutscenes are fun, and battles are interesting enough. However, the dungeons are incredibly boring and the battle system hits a lull until you unlock the ability for sidelined party members to join session attacks later in the game. It also requires more grinding than I would prefer.
Recommend on sale...good luck it is Nintendo...if you like Persona style games and don't mind the pop idol focus and styling.
