Team up with the mysterious fairy, Tri, and use the power of the Tri Rod to learn how to create echoes, imitations of things found in the environment. You can then recreate those echoes whenever you like to solve puzzles and defeat enemies.
Create echoes like water blocks to reach new heights, make bridges out of old beds, throw rocks at foes, or find your own creative combination of echoes to do things your way. You can even create echoes of monsters to fight at your side in combat!

Why can I hot swap outfits, but not accessories? Having to unequip an accessory to equip another seems like a mistake given you don’t have to do that with outfits. Perhaps a bug or QA oversight?

It's very satisfying dumping Octoroks everywhere and having them machine-gun fire into enemies. It took me a bit to figure out when to use certain enemies but I've definitely found some favorites so far in my ~5 hours of gameplay.

It's very satisfying dumping Octoroks everywhere and having them machine-gun fire into enemies. It took me a bit to figure out when to use certain enemies but I've definitely found some favorites so far in my ~5 hours of gameplay.
Also, if you need to get higher up, the answer is almost always beds. Stack some beds. Maybe even a trampoline if you're feeling frisky.
This game engine is also so comfortable, it has that dream-like aesthetic (with the blurred edges of the screen) and it makes me want to take my time and enjoy every moment of it. In fact I'm taking it much easier than the other games I've played this year just due to how cozy the whole thing feels.

Watching your kids really get into their first Zelda game is a magical thing.
My son picked up this thing from his friends where he doesn't want to play as a girl in video games, but he's happily playing as Zelda here.
