I finally had my enjoyment of this game killed.

My tribe had one base when I made mine. It was being upkept. Then, after mine, made three more.

For a reason or another, may it be because my friends no-life (have sped through multiple tech trees, did a bunch of bosses together, killed higher level bosses than me) the game and I have no energy when I come back from the office, and may it be that I am feeling pretty stressed lately for other reasons, I didn't log in.

Today, I got told my base was the ONLY ONE they forgot to fuel. It was destroyed while I was asleep. If you don't feed the bonfire that 'protects' the house, everything you used to build decays. And so it was that, at base built cap, my own base was conveniently left to decay.

Upon being told, the only thing I was told to excuse is that my s/o can't "manage 5 bases" yet I didn't tell him to build the other 4 bases and our other tribesmen are so selfish they didn't even think about checking after they made a mess the first time around, consuming our kindle for fire to build charcoal for their own interest.

The only thing I did with my own hands is now gone and I have no sense of achievement left in this game.

Sorry for the catharsis but I've been struggling with videogame as a whole and this just spelled the end of my infatuation with survival games.
