Better than it has any right to be
This review is for the Wii version

This game didn't even need a story, but it has one and it's fairly compelling. it didn't need an endgame, but it has one. A fairly robust one. Everything about this game suggests it'd be some kind of silly one off barely a video game, but it's actually pretty great. it's very well designed, everything from the visuals to the perfectly chosen soundtrack. it gives you reason to keep playing it. it's filled with content.

I know i'm a bit late but if you somehow have a wii and access to this game, it's a worthwhile time.

So many hours.

My favorite game in middle school. I wasted so many hours saving up 1 million pelagos, trying to discover all the fish species artifacts and coins and whatnot...

Чудесное и незабываемое приключение.
This review is for the Wii version

Underwater collect-them-all

I spent over 40 hours swimming around in the Endless Ocean and I loved it, despite the lack of action. Searching for all the fish species, searching for treasures and legendary fish was very entertaining and relaxing. The main story is simple, but fun. The side activities were not so great. I tried the dolphin shows, but it is quite boring and I still have not managed to get new dolphin species beside the main story. The aquarium and fish sanctuary have no real purpose. Still, that didn't stop me from exploring every corner of the different maps to find all treasures and fish species, which is a lot of fun if you are into games that require a lot of collecting.

Very nostalgic game for me. I am in uni now as a marine bio major and I've loved the ocean since I was a kid. This game is very accurate with respect to sizes and information for all of the sea creatures. There are so many different ocean biomes to explore and it makes the first game feel like a demo. there is so much to do in the game from treasure hunting, to discovering all the species and also just exploring what each area has to offer. Definetly a 5/5 for me.
