Fling to the Finish is a simple racing game in which you are a snail and are bound to another player via a rope. You must coordinate your movement carefully and solve obstacles together. First team to pass the finish line wins.
You can grab ledges and fling the other player across. Some levels have metal poles which lie horizontal across a burning pit of lava. By centering the rope on the pole and swinging around it you can move forward.
The graphics are simple but nice and colorful. The races are all in a downward path, creating depth and far distance views, which look nice.
The controls are easy to learn, but the biggest controller is your partner on the other side of the rope. Good communication is key here.
The silly soundtrack while you fail and reset over and over again is just mocking you at times.
The teamwork and coordination, and the fact that you are still participating in a race, makes this game intense as sh!t sometimes. This is also one of those games that you must play with a friend on a Discord voice chat, with a random person, this matter of teamplay is not going to work.
Overall, I really liked Fling to the Finish and would recommend it.
