Peaklunky is the best rougelike because it made me want to kill myself more than any other rougelike

Painful but in a weird way
I honestly may be a masochist because I keep playing this game even though i keep dying. It is really peak and I have enjoyed every moment of it when I am winning. Also fuck moles.

This game is fun. This game is pain.
If you loved the original, you’re going to love Spelunky 2, and find it equal to its predecessor in all ways except one, where the original was a trail blazer, the new game seems content to, much like it asks of its players, simply plumb into familiar depths.

Got the normal ending on PC, 16 hours. Unlocked all shortcuts. Used a guide to know how to beat the final boss and tips to complete the final requirement of the last shortcut.
After completing the game I read about the secret areas: the game has tons of extra levels and stuff, but I was not impressed with the content …

After completing the game I read about the secret areas: the game has tons of extra levels and stuff, but I was not impressed with the content of the "normal" route, as many locations and challenges are pretty much copy-pasted from Spelunky 1.
I really don't get why this game has a 91% metacritic. I mean, It's OK but I still think it's somewhat overrated.
