Set in the sea town of Mihate when the protagonist moves there and begins to attend a new school. He hears of a local legend in which the dead come back to life every 100 years and are known as "Yomibito." A missing high school girl could signal the return of the Yomibito.

One of those visual novels where you have to play all the routes to get the full story. Each route consists of falling for a girl and then SPOILER. There's a decent twist at the end. Nothing mind blowing but not entirely obvious either. There are tons of little optional side scenes that add character development and comedy too.

Nothing mind blowing but not entirely obvious either. There are tons of little optional side scenes that add character development and comedy too.

My favorite girl/route was Saya. Cute rich girl who can also kick ass with a naginata? Woohoo. Miu would be second. She's adorable, especially when she's not ignoring your existence. The other three are fine, just not great. Sadly there's no romancing the teacher or the cop.

Great routes took too long to get to

There are 5 and a half routes which this game has, Two of which are great while the rest are mediocre as hell. I honestly wouldn't mind this mixed bag too much but you have to play through ALL THREE of the mediocre routes to get to the juicy stuff.
