Illbleed is a tongue-in-cheek survival horror game and a send-up to horror Clichés. Despite being financially unsuccessful, this game received a worldwide cult following for its notable combination of nonlinear gameplay elements (e.g. trap detection) and bizarre B-movie style comedy horror theme, dialogue and voice acting.

I'm aware of the love this game gets among the spooky circles, but I'm really not enjoying it at all. The indicators aren't particularly helpful and the horror visor taking away huge chunks of your adrenalin with every scan mean that either you go full trial and error, or you just buff yourself with health items and face the traps …

I already love this. These four idiot high schoolers and their quality voice acting -- they're perfect. Video game storytelling peaked right here.
