For some reason this game really made me think of the older Atelier games. Loved every part of it!

This installment far surpasses its predecessor. Instead of sticking to the formula they'd used in the last five games, they opted for a classic Atelier style, which was a very wise decision on Gust's part. I'm glad I was able to play with four characters from past games, but honestly, I would have liked to see more playable characters. Even …

Absolutely my top personal favorite in the series after sophie .

i come in with zero expectation after yumia ( horrid...) im glad i was proven wrong . they change the formula yet again !

PROS:

  • Im shocked and surpised by all the cameos from previous atelier series !! not only cameo, but party members . hell yeah. so much nostalgia. although u can play 6 of them, i guess thats fine. Im still happy seeing they all in such good graphics.
  • Turn Based combat ! hell yeah. The combat in yumia series was really bad. Not only its the classical JRPG, they add unite attacks, burst atacks, TP and row which make it so much funs too strategize.
  • Simply resource gathering such a haevan send. no more u need to dig, to hit a rock wasting seconds seeing same animations agains and again. u just hit hit and hit and auto gathering items. very fast. very cool.
  • Best synthesis system. easy to learn, easy to manage.
  • Acceptable town management system.
  • Teleport ease travelling
  • Nice graphics and animations
  • No issue with performance (PC)
  • Got epilogue ! i love it. i hate game who just abrupt end after final boss whatsoever and left me to ponder the ending smh.

CONS:

  • The only cons are limit basket total 500 in dungeons. come one. u know thats not enough lol
  • Town management not explained well enough, even i hit the wall and need mr google to teach me.

Overall solid 9/10 for me.
im satisfiy with just this installment, but if trilogy? Bring it on. just dont change the formula like u did errrr. u know
