A fun toy, but requires too much patience to play

I'm a fan of Glander's art and comics, so I was excited about this game. The trailer was extremely exciting to watch and prepared me for something I thought I was sure to fall in love with. The aesthetic and premise are both solid, but there are just too many quality of life issues for me to really enjoy it. Mobility is very basic and extremely slow. The camera is simply terrible, especially for a game with a color and pleasant environment to explore. Speaking of the environment, it is interesting looking, but there's very little to do out in it. The addition of classmate NPCs or other online players could make this a fascinating space. I could see it working similarly to MiiVerse (RIP :c)

The art interface is pleasantly limited. Less is more here, and the prompts are varied and entertaining. It's fun to finish a piece and rush back to your AI professor to show it what you've completed. Oh wait, you can't rush, because your movement is so slow. I wish this was better. I assume this was a little side project for Glander. He is an excellent artist. I hope he returns to games at …

an entertaining concept with some weak execution

played for around half an hour before feeling satisfied and fully done with the game. the prompts are often funny and great for breaking artblock, but the controls and camera are weak at best, and it's not very user friendly. walking around is so slow that it feels like a chore, but you're encouraged to do so in order to find power-ups and can end up lagging behind (or just not having as much fun due to a limited palette) if you don't. the ai in charge of grading you is also an epileptic nightmare of flashing dots — i had to partically cover the screen with my hand to be able to get through those scenes.

it's a shame, really, because the drawing parts themselves feel pretty good! i kinda almost wish it was just a drawing simulator since that would remove most of its problems. either way, there's lots of potential in there if the developer ever decides to work on it further.
