Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir is an enhanced HD remake of Odin Sphere game for PlayStation 2. Many various adjustments and changes were made in gameplay, considering comments from people who played the original game. While this is enhanced version of the original and it's trying to stay true to it, there are new gameplay and story elements presented in this release, some of which include new boss fights, new attack moves, new background music, and new map area to explore. While the initial idea of the developers was to make just n HD remastered release, it ended up being more of a re-created game version. As such, the game offers both classic mode as well as refined mode with all new elements and new gameplay. Read less

I love the original odin sphere and this new version adds a lot of cool new expansions upon the gameplay. I enjoyed it but at the end I was a little sad new game plus was harder only and you couldn't play the game again with all your new stuffs. I kinda enjoyed wrecking bosses with end game equipment on the orginal but that might just be a wierd nostalgia. Overall odin sphere continues to be a beautiful and amazing action rpg I recommend to all.

una leggenda nordica

gioco stupendo e addirittura platinato. Musiche eccellenti. Giocato su PS4 Voto: 10/10

this is one of the best RPG's i have ever played, i discovered it through a demo on the PSN store and im glad i did, the characters , the music, the story and even the bosses were fantastic, my review is a 5 out of 5.

  • Gorgeous backgrounds and characters
  • Combat is very well put together but gets repetitive
  • Good story, with big pacing issues
  • Forgettable soundtrack other than the excellent main theme

Pros: A feast for the eyes and ears: gorgeous hand drawn sprites and backgrounds; music by one of my favorites, Hitoshi Sakimoto and Basiscape. The gameplay is fun as well: combat, using and learning skills, making and using potions are all fluid and fun. I love the title screen. The last boss was also great. …

Good story, dialogue and characters.

Cons: Gameplay can be repetitive but I didn't mind. I did not enjoy fighting some of the aerial bosses though. Especially that damn blimp, that can go to hell.

Replay at some point.
