Created with heart, culture and character, ANOTHER SIGHT is the story of Kit and Hodge. Whilst exploring the London Underground during its construction in 1899, Kit, a bold teenager is caught in a tunnel collapse. When Kit wakes up, her sight is gone, and she’s left helpless in the dark world below London. Hodge, a mysterious cat finds Kit, and becomes her companion on a journey through a surreal fantasy adventure, influenced by Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere.

altokat24's review of Another Sight
This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version

A bit short - I was hoping for a few more brilliant minds (especially given the reveal of who her mom is) but the animation of the cat was solid and the puzzles were the right level of difficulty (except for that last one, wtf?)

Beat as free game from xbox gold. It was not difficult, with fairly simple platforming and puzzles around switching between the cat and the girl. Her movement speed was annoyingly slow and it was annoying that there was no way to move both characters simultaneously. At least the cat magically warped when end of level cutscenes were triggered. The game became more annoying later with stealth against human enemies. I did have to look up 2 solutions; 1 where I did not know the cat could lure guards into moving, and the other I just missed a door. I did the music and final puzzles by copying off a video online because I was not wasting my time on that nonsense. The final puzzle was just memorizing the runes, which would have been very easy if they were normal letters. I guess the music puzzle was trial and error to figure out which button corresponded to each music note.

Overall decently made but not my kind of game. The story was nothing special though the blindness mechanics were interesting.

I suppose if I were wandering around in the dark (in heels, no less) relying on a stray cat's mews to guide me, I'd walk very slow, too. But this is a game. Can we speed it up a bit?

Neat concept, though.
