A decent, solid, nice stealth game. Although by no means a Chaos Theory, if you stop thinking of it as a Splinter Cell game and just another stealth game, it's fun to play. Sadly, the PC version is an obvious console port, with amazingly clunky controls and lack of refined graphics. Although the gameplay makes up for it somewhat, it does not by any means remedy this problem.
I had quite a lot of fun during this short game. It took me around 7 hours to finish it. The downside is that it doesn't deserve the "Splinter Cell" name as it doesn't have much in common with the old games, it's definitely less stealthy and less special, however, I found it extremely fun and would play again. At times it felt more like Call of Duty rather than Splinter Cell :)
And here we go, #5 of 6 on the list. First time playing Conviction, so I'm pretty excited about what's ahead. First impressions are very good, finally a game that looks proper compared to todays standards, the previous ones were indeed showing their age. I'll keep you posted. :)
