This game is great. Just little physics puzzles that encourage creative, strategic thinking.

This is a fishing minigame even @BMO would enjoy
I could say a lot, but all I really need to say is this game is fun and has a fantastic score. I loved hearing the varied compositions of that main ♪ Ha~ ta~ rakku U~ FO song. I've heard other games try this kind of remixing of one song, but it has never worked like Part Time UFO.
(I think YouTube won't let this embed properly here, just click over and listen to this OST. I love it)
It's cute. The soundtrack is brilliant. It's mostly fun. Some of the levels just make me want to chuck my phone into the ocean. Which is why it took me a year to finish the last four levels... But I've done it, with a little help from YouTube with the Lab 3 level.
I'm not sure the different outfits really help that much. No matter what I did, even with the most expensive stuff, heavy stuff was still heavy, the crane swung everywhere, and flight precision was non-existent. Part of the charm, I suppose.
This is a Switch game from the Kirby devs where you move around a Kirby-ish-looking UFO, then press a button to lower a crane game claw to pick something up, and then move to where you need the item to go and try to drop it off carefully. Generally you'll be needing to stack a bunch of items, and you don't want everything to fall over. It's an okay little diversion, and the option to play 2-player co-op is nice (when you need a break from Snipperclips). I got tired of the formula for this one pretty quickly though, and got sick of the whistling music much quicker. And while the general concept for UFO is fine, I felt the execution a bit hit and miss. Sometimes stuff seemed to fall down for no good reason, and sometimes I'd totally BS things and miraculously everything stayed in place as if suddenly super-glued. Learning that this was a mobile game first might explain a lot for how it all "felt" controls and physics-wise. But still, it's not terrible for the $8 asking price.
This game set the record for making me go fastest from “oh, this is fun/cute” to “[stream of swears masked by unintelligible sobs]”.
I’m on what I believe is the penultimate level, the last Tetris-like one (mobile version) and it has officially broken me. Not that the last fishing or the sumo one didn’t already make me question the reason for my existence. It took me over an hour to get that damn wig on the sumo kid. They can hire a full time UFO.
