There are some interesting ideas in the demo, but...it's not a good sign when your demo has a bug that makes things unplayable right from the start (in my case, inventory would open and immediately close, so nothing could be accessed). Unfortunately, the Steam reviews were consistently saying that the final product is very buggy and has been effectively abandoned by the developers. So, we'll cross this one off the potential wishlist.
I did get a laugh out of the protagonist asking about a watering can, and having their neighbor reply that the farm has a hose, like every modern farm, because it isn't 1996 anymore. Fair point!
