I think that this game gets bad reviews because people aren't playing past the point where it goes from a trials rip off to an awesome trick game comparable to tony hawks pro skater or olliolli but with unique game mechanics that separates it from them. At first I thought this game was really just garbage, however, there this hugely fun mechanic that isn't made apparent until you get stuck on an early level. To beat this level and all others after it you will need to press the x button while high in the air to pump down onto the jumps, giving you enough air to proceed further (this concept being really fun and quite unique to this genre). The tutorial does a terrible job explaining this because it tells you to press x just before you land but it is more complicated than that. If you are a fan of thps or OlliOlli or any other trick game I would highly recommend this title as it starts to get very fun and challenging once you understand the game mechanics.
