Had some neat ideas but didnt' really enjoy it as a game.

I can definitely weigh in on this game and leave a review for it I think to help people know if they might like it. I've played a lot of these kinds of first person puzzle adventure narrative games, they often have psych horror elements and stuff. this one is definitely that and its OK, but it has a few soft spots that are annoying. It's also really short

  1. it's a confusing story, like i have no idea. I don't even know what character i am but I'm basically wandering through some mad scientists house who is transferring his consciousness over or created a time machine or something, it super schizo

  2. Puzzle-solving system not clear really. Something to do with light switches but eventually figured out that it was representing World A and world B (you basically have to take an item from world to the other to solve a few puzzles here and there to advance the 'plot')

  3. Had some real philosophy in some places that grinds my gears. If you liked the story and style of Bloober or Frictional games and specifically Soma you'll probably like this, but its a lower quality cut of those games in many …

  3. Had some real philosophy in some places that grinds my gears. If you liked the story and style of Bloober or Frictional games and specifically Soma you'll probably like this, but its a lower quality cut of those games in many ways: its' short, the puzzles are simple, the story is not good (though elements of itt seem quite interesting and inspired, and the format works well for telling the story as they've done it in almost Vanishing of Ethan Carter fashion) its not really scary and there are no monsters, not overall immersive.

I was tempted to give it a two because of it's rougher bits as i honestly really didn't like it but the way it is presented is interesting enough as well as some aspects of the story so as to warrant spending two hours on it, it remains a mixed bag.

Oh I definitely should note that I played a PC version and did not play it with VR. I'm sure the game is a better experience in VR but good luck completing it without using a walkthrough or let's play. If there was a hint on that clock puzzle i certainly didn't pick up on it., and once you must solve the puzzle you are stuck there. i got stuck in a few places actually and didn't have the patience to figure them out.
