I must admit I'm completely addicted to Pogostuck at the moment.

I'm not exactly sure what the appeal is. The graphics/aesthetics are awful, the controls are awful.. even the idea itself isn't very original; it's an obvious ripoff of "getting over it." I guess the little nugget of originality is the multiplayer aspect. So myself and a couple friends have been spending our evenings attempting to scale this mountain of trash and frustration on these chubby little pogo guys.
Not really sure what else I can say about it. You're a little dude on a pogostick, and you're trying to scale this mountain of trash with these increasingly-challenging obstacles. The obstacles and the controls are extremely difficult to master and you're often sent back and your progress is destroyed. The challenge isn't the game itself but rather the self-control and determination; to resist the urge to uninstall this pile of garbage and give up.
I must say, it's really addictive and I quite enjoy playing it while listening to podcasts. I bought it for myself and a few friends for a couple bucks over the holiday steam sales. I've put in around 12 hours and I've made it around 35% …

I must say, it's really addictive and I quite enjoy playing it while listening to podcasts. I bought it for myself and a few friends for a couple bucks over the holiday steam sales. I've put in around 12 hours and I've made it around 35% up the mountain. Only 1% of steam players have reached the very top of the mountain.
This is like some horrible boiled-down internet-explorer flash game version of dark souls. I really love this game, though I don't think it's for everyone.
