Grindfest
The grind is unreasonable. I thought people were exeggerrating, but it's true. If you somehow can put up with it, more power to you. I didn't finish it for that sole reason.

Ys VI is I believe the originator of my favorite Ys engine, the same one seen in Oath in Felghana and Ys Origins. The combat is smooth as silk and as always the music and sound design are top-notch. Perhaps most importantly, it is only 5 smackeroos on Steam right now, a whopping 1/12th the price of Sekiro and Dragon Quest III HD.

This is the most difficult video game I have ever played in my entire life, my life expectancy has been reduced by 20 years after playing this game; but I don't regret playing it because it was a beautiful journey. I wonder how many people who played this game managed to make it to the end, I imagine not many.

I think its story stands out as being a bit more interesting than the other Ys games. Other than the difficult combat, the main flaws I found were lack of fast travel and lack of information. I did not know that some moves were even possible, and there was side content with no clue in game that it was even something you could do; like optional bosses that respawn later in the game in out of the way places. Why would anyone ever randomly go there again?
I could see getting my own copy and playing through again, maybe on higher difficultly. My notes say I gave it 6.5 but I'll bump it up to 7.2/10.

Me encanta esta región que nos presenta el juego pero es demasiado duro, muchas horas farmeando que hacen que canse, enemigos muy duros a maldad que bajan la experiencia. Como siempre un arpg brillante, adictivo y con bso muy buena.
