The graphics are well done, but unfortunately, the story didn’t catch my attention at all. Blackwell was, up to this point, the best game I’ve played. Unfortunately, everything that followed hasn’t lived up to that standard. It’s a shame, as I had higher expectations since Blackwell.

The post-apocalyptic world may be a bit old hat at this point but this does have a few interesting twists with the way the world is set up. The puzzles are all well-integrated, feeling completely natural in the world. I rarely ever felt stuck and was able to kinda walk around and check out areas to see what I missed easily. Plenty of "Oh, of course!" moments. Far easier than the usual adventure but not down to like a Putt-Putt level or anything. Some of the walk cycles look pretty wonky and The Reaper character ends up very silly in the end too. Still, I really enjoyed playing this one.

I definitely recommend for fans of Wadjet Eye games, though they only produced it not created it. It is a very tight post apocalyptic game, with pretty solid puzzles, great art, some good characters, and a cool story.

I never felt totally wowed, but I wasn’t disappointed either. I think the puzzles at the end sorta fell off and become way too easy, whereas the earlier ones were real thinkers. That’s my only real complaint, otherwise fully enjoyed it.

Well made. Another good Wadjet Eye game. Just one thing, there's one puzzle which is terribly bad, and I mean really badly made. (some of the devs say that too in the commentaries). Also some inconsistencies in the story and things left without explanation. Some also might find it all overly simplistic.

But I am ok with that. it's just that effing puzzle that is the lowest point of the game.

Most prominent is the gorgeous background art, which is extremely detailed for being so pixelated. Ben Chandler has as usual done a wonderful job breathing life into the world and its characters. The story kept me interested all the way to the credits even though it might not be the most overwhelming one from the developer. I would perhaps have preferred the difficulty to be a bit higher. Mostly because that would have kept me in the awesome post-apocalyptic world of the game for a longer time though, because solving the puzzles is rewarding enough. I am now eagerly awaiting Unavowed, the upcoming title from Wadjet Eye Games.
