Read moreJust started playing and got through the first two quests. This is one of the strangest games I've played in a long time. It features a talking spell book that kind of reminds me of that monster book from Harry Potter. It also required wiping its tears for some sort of special powers, which was kind of disturbing. Yeah, the book says they weren't tears, but lacrimae in Latin is tears, so its lying. One thing I like is that the quests are short. It's the typical Japanese style beat-em-up with weird monsters and lots of spell visuals. Another thing I like is the storybook aspect alternating between quests and the fact that you can also just talk to the book. I think that if it weren't for that, I wouldn't want to play any further because the combat isn't really all that fun and the graphics are kind of underwhelming.
