It works as a fast and funny co-op game.
The 4 or so core game modes are constantly being changed with special obstacles or new annoyances that get in the way. The kiwis are super cute with lots of customisation options.
But the controls are kind of clunky and with all the changing rules I never felt there was enough time to get better at each level.
The game is fun and gameplay never gets stale, always changing things up and introducing new stuff. But boy is it janky. I'm constantly getting caught in geometry and interacting with the environment is confusing because the interaction boxes are tiny.
Played a couple of levels with my girlfriend. It's a bit of a disappointment. Even if cute, the graphics are on the ugly side.
The gameplay is pretty simple but co-op mostly involves each player doing it's own thing or even taking turns, so it lacks the coordination requirements of Overcooked, or the frenetic non-stop action of Moving Out. Some minigames are more fun than others, though.
Controls are also weird. Some actions are performed with X, others with Y, and others with Left Trigger.
