"Momodora III is a classic action platform game with a variety of items and secrets. It's the third installment of the Momodora series, although playing the previous titles is not necessary to enjoy the game! The game takes a departure from the style of Momodora II and focuses more on linear level design, similar to the first title in the series."

This is a short game (I finished it in about 90 minutes), so here is a short review. Gameplay was buttery smooth, with an emphasis on combat instead of precision platforming. I enjoyed the relatively low-stress gameplay and the whole thing was just long enough that the easy difficulty and low stakes did not deteriorate into boredom. The game's art style is also unique. Somehow it made me feel lonely, even though there is almost no story at all inside the game itself.

After this title be sure to check out Momodora: Reverie Under The Moonlight. It is a larger and more difficult game with similar style (and similar lack of story). If you enjoy this title and are looking for more Momodora: Reverie Under The Moonlight should be your next stop.

It's not as fun as Momodora II in terms of exploration. The ability to pick a character is nice, though, and some of the hidden events are fun. The art is wonderful as always.
