Beat the demo. I wasn't sure it would even run on my pc but it was functional on minimum settings. Sometimes the framerate had a meltdown when I was turning around near doorways. It was Chinese Resident Evil. Hard was not available so I did Normal. The story was kind of lame and not translated very well, plus no English voices. No limit on saving but very limited inventory and storage boxes in save rooms. I liked that there were +1 inventory space upgrades to find and that loot that was not picked up was shown on the map, though a loading screen said that was only for the school. Should be standard for the whole game. The atmosphere was very good, the shooting was fun, and there was only 1 simple math puzzle. I actually would have struggled with that puzzle if I had not already watched a video about the game because the calendar on the wall was unreadable with minimum graphics. The game was fairly fun while it lasted. There was way more ammo than needed plus I insisted on conserving it by using the knife a lot. The knife was risky and inconsistent, plus it was …

After having to use several med kits I think the best tactic was to fully melee crawlers, shoot normal Zs twice in the head so they take at most 2 swings to kill, and 3 shots for the big thug guys. If there were tables or desks to get them stuck on I went full cheese melee, and there were several in a place that I could not get to that I shot from outside. Knife swings used stamina which was shared with the dodge. I switched to the summer uniform because it had faster stamina regen and added the same bonus again. I did not go back to the dressing room to see what the new outfit from the locker did. I had to put a lot of pistol ammo in storage because I had too much, and carried the rifle with no extra ammo. The flashlight sometimes stunned Zs for easier melee but I think that only worked if I had it off and suddenly turned it on at close range. I tried using flares to lure Zs and shoot the organic bomb things but that did not seem to hurt Zs at all. At the end I dumped 30 rifle rounds into the boss then ran back to the save room to get more ammo and the grenades. The save room was not safe at all but the boss had trouble getting through doors so I got 2 good grenade hits and another rifle mag dump before luring him to an exploding barrel for the killing blow.
Might buy it years after release if reviews are good
