"average western videogame is 1GB" factoid actualy just statistical error. average western game is 50GB. Billy Basso, who lives in cave & wrote his own engine from scratch, is an outlier adn should not have been counted

Layer 1 was consistently good as a puzzle metroidvania. Room after room of creative puzzles, mini skips, and tense encounters. A small amount of tools with multi use purposes. I'm so down to do the other layers of the game. And oh my God. The level design is the circumference of the well.

Even with my Dunkey bias aside, Animal Well might be for me what Outer Wilds is to a lot of people. This game is really clicking with me right now.

Great, this kickass looking game is releasing tomorrow and i don't have either the time to play it, or the money to buy it :s I really trust dunkey's word that this is something special. Good thing is that since i'll be bussy this next 3 weeks, time'll fly.
