Rating: 4/10

I love Smash Bros, like so many others, but I don't like this. There are things I do like, such as the visuals, the characters and the way the elements briefly manipulate the stages.

In an effort to come across as different, they have parrying which is pretty integral to getting good. Which I suppose is fine, but it's hardly this genre-changing addition that makes me forget that this is a clunky Smash Bros. It's fast but nothing feels that impactful.

It's probably unfair to say that considering how big Nintendo is (meaning they have a lot more resources) and how memorable the characters are, but I have to be honest with Grouvee and say that I just don't enjoy this.

Also, there's nothing here to sink your teeth into unless you want to spend hours playing online which the few characters that are available. If that's your thing, you will get a lot more time out of this than I (my friend played this for around 60 hours he said). But the reality is that there is a story mode which is undercooked, but props to them for trying to create a decent story, and an Abyss …
