Well. I finished it. This type of game isn't my thing, the "story"/humor never clicked for me, and the controls felt janky. It was basically three hours of frustration and tedium. I couldn't get into it.

This is next in my game exchange my boyfriend and I are doing. I'm making him play Chants of Senaar and he gave me Portal. I'm not used to Xbox and the controls feel so wonky, I never play (what is essentially) first person shooters, so I'm hating it so far. 😅 I'm riding the struggle bus hard.

The simple ideas are often the best, and Portal, quite simply, is one of the best ideas for a game we've ever seen. It's fantastically realized, brilliantly executed, and had me wrapped around its computerized finger for two-and-a-half unforgettable hours. This is gaming in its purest form.
