The game's narrative is really chaotic but that's kind of what I like about it. It doesn't care about game design standards just having fun fluctuating between deep pseudo-philosophical dialogues and (un)funny puns. There is a LOT of cultural background behind this game to dig. The neon visuals are stunning and nowhere else to be seen in such raw power. The mechanics do their job of keeping the player's attention and the rythm-based fight system is enjoyable as in the first game. There were some clunky fragments of the game but overall it's a somewhat different but stil great follow-up to the first part.
It never ends in Everhood.
