Peculiarnewbie's review of Death Road to Canada

A fairly enjoyable game with interesting ideas. It has that oregon trail feel to it. The writing is good with procedural generated stuff. The resource management mechanic is a bit shallow but compelling enough, same thing with the combat and the looting. So I'd say that this game is pretty enjoyable for maybe 2 hours and a half at most, and you'd have probably seen everything and enjoyed it quite a bit.

I know Grouvee is for games. I'll rip the political band-aid quickly. Accept my Canadian apology in advance.

To my American friends, please do not entertain jokes of the 51st state in your circles. The laughter of absurdity only safeguards those who laugh with impish empowerment. A substantial difference in uncertain times.

I've played video games my whole life. These wrists can't enlist.

Bro I bought this for 2$ after redeeming my points on switch and I don't care what anyone says I absolutely love it. It's silly and making characters based on people I know irl makes it even more funny and enjoyable. I also love encountering special characters like the bard and the anime girl lmao. Have not suceeded in going to Canada yet. Tried to rob someone during the last day and everyone got blasted, oops.
