A decent palette cleanser
Songbird Symphony is a super innocent rhythm and Metroidvania type game (roughly). You go around learning new notes, performing rhythm based song challenges, and exploring a semi-open world.
This was kinda my eye bleach game as I worked my way through Signalis and Depths of Sanity. The art style is super bright and it is pretty well animated.

One thing that detracted a ton from enjoyability is - no map. The level design gets really confusing and the lack of map took away from the game’s coziness (it’s strongest asset).
The music is ok. The platforming is basically nonexistent. The rhythm sections are pretty challenging and fun.
It served its purpose but it’s not something I’d revisit or recommend really. But if you’re really craving a light and innocent Metroidvania / music game - I guess this is the one!
