Low C-tier (but still fun) Metroidvania
Necrolepsy is another totally unheard of game that I recently played and had a good time with. It’s very mid tier, and probably has more jank than most would put up with, but the Metroidvania fundamentals are there and enjoyable enough for me.
The most surprising element is how many upgrades you get. There are 4 areas that each give 3 abilities, which is a lot because this is about a 6-8 hour game.
Downsides- everything is just forgettable. Art, level design, bosses, story. But it still scratches the Metroidvania itch.
