Cavern of Dreams is a third person adventure platformer that is a love letter to the mascot platforming collectathons of the ps1 and n64 era. You play as a little dragon trying to find his siblings in their eggs, while finding playing cards scattered throughout to fill out the encyclopedia. As you progress, you get some new abilities that can be combined with prior ones that really make this a fun game to explore using the movement system. There are some light puzzles in determining how to advance to the next level or to get an egg or card, but these usually are not too difficult. A few times you may come across one that you will need to come back to after acquiring a new ability. This may be my only pet peeve of the game as in these types of games, Id rather it built around being able to fully complete a level before moving on to the next.
It's a pretty short game as I was able to complete it in I believe about 6 hours, with another hour for collectable clean up to 100% the game. If you can find this on sale and enjoyed the crocs, crash, spyro, banjo games of old then definitely pick this one up!
