Figured I should try at least one Vampire Survivors-like to see what all the fuss is about, so I picked this one.

Figured I should try at least one Vampire Survivors-like to see what all the fuss is about, so I picked this one.
It's fine. There's glowy orbs to collect, there's randomized loot when you level up, and it's neat to see just how absurd your character's attack pattern can get after you've upgraded it a dozen times. Like a lot of roguelikes though, it feels more like a compulsion than actually fun, and success or failure mostly comes down to getting the right gear in the lottery. You also end up seeing pretty much all the abilities and enemies within just a couple runs, and there's not much there to hold your attention after that.

Still having a great time dropping in to play a round of 20 Minutes Till Dawn every few days.
Could I ask a curator to approve this submission? I thought I was just hallucinating adding it and started going through the process again since it's been a few weeks lol.
