Silhouette Mirage is a side-scrolling action game. The basic gameplay is somewhat similar to that of Gunstar Heroes. The game's standout feature is the concept of the two attributes. Depending on the enemy's attributes and the type of attack used by Shyna, damage can be increased, and spirit (equivalent to magic power) can be absorbed from enemies. Shyna can dash, jump, crouch, slide, and grab enemies, executing combo attacks. This game is super under appreciated. I don't know a single person (besides the people I've shown this game) who has seen or heard of this game. what is this game? well it's a run and gun and kinda has back to back bosses (like for example cuphead) all of which are wacky, weird, and loads of fun! it also a game that has multiple endings, which wasn't very common in the day. sure the art is more pixelated, but I feel just like some the new games that old school is becoming more popular and creative. this game is no exception. this game is really fun with charm and lots of fun and quirky characters! i hope that some day more people will give this game more love ^_^

Tanti anni dopo, perlomeno sulle prime, i controlli risultano un po' legnosi, ma per il resto continua ad essere una bomba, con meccaniche intelligenti e divertenti (e, per l'epoca, piuttosto innovative), la solita sfilza di boss fantastici marchio di fabbrica Treasure e uno stile audiovisivo adorabile. In più è impegnativo ma (quasi) mai ingiusto.
