Very nice point & click puzzle game making use of a well-known literary character

Detective Di, better known perhaps as Judge Dee from the murder mystery series that made him famous, is loosely based on an actual 7th century Chinese magistrate named Di Renjie. This game is a pixel graphic point & click mystery that follows the familiar pattern of combining inventory items, the environment and speaking with NPCs to unlock a mystery. As with all of these games, the real enjoyment is from the puzzles and the story it reveals. This one hits pretty well on both accounts. You're given the option to play Detective Di as an honorable man or a dishonorable one through dialogue choices. I don't know what happens if you choose the dishonorable path. I doubt it changes the overall story significantly except for the outcome at the very end.
I played it on Steam Deck. It worked fine but selecting some of the pixels was annoying at times. I would suggest just using a PC with a mouse for anyone looking to play it. Definitely worth checking out for fans of the genre.
