Flexible basketball management sim

One genre of game that I have played since the turn of the millenium are sports management sims. Games where you manage a team and simulate the season of a specific sport. Some may have heard of the far more famous Football Manager to get the type. It is truly the height of my nerd-dom to simulate multiple seasons of a sport and record them as if they were real.

This was, for years, the go to NBA simulation that I played. Unfortunately, my computer died before I could export my save. Not only would I have to restart the 6 seasons I had already played but apparently, I would have to buy a new license to play the game. It's only available directly from the dev and it seems the license I purchased cannot be transferred to a new computer. So, that's me done with Fastbreak Basketball 3. It was fun to play for the 8 years or so I had it downloaded. i especially appreciated that you could export all kinds of stats and standings; that made it easier for nerdy old me to create a record of each season.
