PROS
- Showcases a significant step up in creativity in all facets of its design
- Exploring outer space and collecting upgrades is satisfying
- Levels have much more variety this time around, you never quite know what to expect when touching down on a new planet
CONS
- Audio is just as bad as in the first game; my ears are still bleeding
- Countering mechanic feels weird and is little more than a glorified QTE
- Mediocre boss fights that you have to defeat multiple times
- Terrible final level makes getting the good ending almost not worth it
- Increases emphasis on story to very little success
- Sensitive fall damage, which was a minor problem in the first game, is absolutely infuriating this time around. Note to game designers: the threshold for fall damage should be more than one pixel higher than your character's jump.
