Read moreI don’t really remember the first two games very well, but I remember liking them. For whatever reason, I just wasn’t super into this entry even though it felt similar to what I remember from those games. The dimension switching wasn’t as exciting to me as similar mechanics in Metroid prime 2 and the zelda oracle games for example. I wasn’t into the story. The exploration kind of annoyed me. All metroidvanias have backtracking, but some implement it better than others. In the case of this game, it was on the tedious side.
