Lethal Company (2023)

i was going through my profile after a long time...its been a while since i have played any games....i just realised i had never posted a review for this game.

After its release , i think for about 6 months continuously i had played this game. Made a lot of new friends.....had soo many funny memories. It was perfect....2023 end was full of playing this game.

CO-OP SURVIVAL - You're a scavenger working for the mysterious "Company", and it's your job to collect scrap in order to meet the quota.

PROS:

++ Proximity chat integration. Such a fun and thrilling experience playing with others, or even playing solo. Proximity chat is integrated perfectly in this game and leads to so many hilarious moments with friends.

++ Varied creature types. I'm impressed with all the different creatures and dangers already in the game. Individually, they're not too hard to deal with, but the fun comes with trying to manage all of these things at once. The Bracken, Coil-Head, Ghost Girl, Mimics, and Thumpers are some of my favorites. Also, discovering these creatures for the first time made for some great memories. I'm very excited to see all the different creatures the developers will add in the future.

++ Great atmosphere. The game is good at making you feel paranoid as you explore.

++ Addicting gameplay loop. The main gameplay loop is quite addicting and creates some great risk-reward scenarios.

++ Great mod support. There are already so many mods for this game that will continue to extend the longevity of this game, and enhance the base game.

CONS:

-- Lack of variation with interiors. There seems to be only two variations (haunted mansion and the normal base).

-- Mostly helpless. Limited ways to deal with the different creatures and monsters.

-- Visually dull. Not the greatest looking game.

-- Minor bugs. Because it's still in early access, there are still some bugs (loot falling through the floor), but nothing game-breaking.

I haven't laughed so much playing a game ever.

One of my friends put on a mask and it killed him but took over his body. I was getting chased by a spider and warned him to run but he wasn't running.

So I stop and ask why isn't he running and he kills me. And I get taken over.

Then my housemate sees conor running towards her but she saw him get taken over by the mask and when we watch her on the camera, there she is getting chased by both of us back to the ship lol

The best part was when he put the mask on, he was pretending he was possessed down the mic...then actually got possessed.
