Fun for what it is

I'd give it a 3.5 if there was one, but if forced to round, I'll round up.

Fun game. A couple great bosses. I'm not drawn to games with essentially zero dialogue unless you go reading the compendium, but this was enough basic entertainment to hold things together without it.

Fun game. A couple great bosses. I'm not drawn to games with essentially zero dialogue unless you go reading the compendium, but this was enough basic entertainment to hold things together without it.

The extent of the backtracking gets a little old, and the controls when it comes to switching weapons, visors, and in/out of morph ball mode could have been much snappier and would have improved this game from good to great imo. There were a number of combat situations where I felt severely limited by the animations/dead time involved in these switches.

3.5/5. May have been harder on it if I paid money for it, but library borrowing ftw.
