So, I have been spoiled the identity of the final boss, not a big surprise however, logical in truth. However, it seems that to roll credits in this game one has to beat it 10 times! What is that?!? And I am getting exhausted of Elysium's boss! How can someone does that, in my 21th attempt and this game is …

And I am getting exhausted of Elysium's boss! How can someone does that, in my 21th attempt and this game is getting on my nerves, my body asks for a breather, but no way Jose. If I were to play in "God Mode", which is made for players to focus on the story, would I get the credits the first time I have gone through... because I know I won't play through this 10 times is good, but it hasn't convinced me to be that good!

Hades is delivering that mythological pump that I so needed, we might not have Kratos slashing his way through Ancient Greece no more, but I am sure glad we have Zagreus doing the same in the Underworld.

That being said, is it GOTY material? I do not know yet. Is it enjoyable? Fuck yeah. Is it good looking? Fuck yeah. …

That being said, is it GOTY material? I do not know yet. Is it enjoyable? Fuck yeah. Is it good looking? Fuck yeah. Is it well designed? Fuck yeah. Good gameplay? Fuck yeah. Good dialogue? Fuck yeah. Will it be incredibly time consuming? It looks like it, so, fuck yeah. How many "fuck yeahs"? Six. Six is a lot, is it GOTY material? Well, you know, fuck yeah.

Taking a break from getting repeatedly stomped by Theseus and the Minotaur. This game starts to lose some of its appeal when you flail on the same bullet-sponge boss duo for about the 15th time in a row with no change in outcome. Going to play through Nier: Automata and see what the fuss is all about.

Made one successful escape attempt but this isn't the end of the game is it? Still engaged so will probably keep on playing more.

Just started playing. Looks cool as fuck. Sadly I still got homework. I am very curious about this game

As someone who normally can't stand Rogue-likes I cannot stop playing this. The gameplay loop is just so satisfying, I love all the characters, and figuring out which different weapon/boon combos work well together is a blast. I'm on my 6th clear at this point and am still feeling a constant drive to fight my way through. Easily my GOTY.

Got the true ending yesterday after 7 consecutive successful escapes. Easy five stars from me. Not my GOTY (that's Doom Eternal), but this is second place and in my top 15 of all time.

This is a fantastic game. I'm usually not a fan of dungeon crawlers, but the sheer amount of variety, combined with the "never the same game twice" mechanism makes this so much fun. This is a fantastic game. I'm usually not a fan of dungeon crawlers, but the sheer amount of variety, combined with the "never the same game twice" mechanism makes this so much fun. The level of fairness is also rock solid, as the game gets more and more challenging with each room you make it to, but never feels cheap or impossible. As you get familiar with enemies, traps and other obstacles, you figure out ways to avoid them or deal with them without losing too much health. The writing is clever and witty, with dialog that will make you laugh and smile all the way through. Great voice acting and a killer soundtrack. The animation is beautiful and it runs very well on the Nintendo Switch, both in handheld and dock mode. This could be game of the year and is definitely the best game on the Switch for 2020.

Would not have thought that I could reach the final (? at least I think this is the final one) boss without using God mode and that makes me feel giddy. Don't want to get too ahead of myself though. It's probably mostly due to the upgrades I made with the mirror. Can't figure out if the weapon choice also has an effect, and in line with that, I can't figure out which is my favorite weapon. Initially I loved the shield but the bow is also quite handy for me.

Got much, much farther than I imagined possible on my first serious 32 heat attempt, but died to Asterius and Theseus. Fuck Theseus, man. (;´⌓`) Recently decided to try transitioning to playing with controller. Yes, I really have been playing (mushy laptop) keyboard and mouse this whole time. All 150+ hours, yep. 16+ heat attempts, yep. LOL. Starting to feel …

Did 4 attempts today. First attempt, I was very close to killing Hades during his second phase and then died. Second attempt I escaped. Third attempt, I was killed by Charon. 4th attempt, I escaped. I've been consistent with getting to Styx lately so I feel like I am definitely making progress. enter image description here enter image description here

I alllllmost beat the last guy with the gun after about 20 runs. Time to get back to it.

Also, as I feared, I'm missing out on most of the L1 story text I'm uncovering for characters/items/enemies, because it's just too small to read sitting >10ft from my TV. I'd think Switch owners have a similar situation if the UI …
