River City Ransom: Underground seems to have appeared out of nowhere and it looks fantastic. The reviews are all very positive too. It's one of the very few games that I've had on my backlog for many years (the original NES version). River City Ransom: Underground seems to have appeared out of nowhere and it looks fantastic. The reviews are all very positive too. It's one of the very few games that I've had on my backlog for many years (the original NES version). The NES version is a classic, and it's a brilliant game which deserves all the praise it receives. From early reviews it seems like this is just more of the same, but with lots of modern updates and conveniences. So maybe I'll skip the NES rom for now and this release will finally allow me to enjoy the full River City Ransom experience. :O
