"Japan's take on classic Commodore 64/Amiga action-adventure games. NOT a Metroidvania. Use your wits and your weapons to discover an ancient secret and gain your redemption. Art and music by Japanese legends of console gaming. Exile's End is an homage to early 90's action-adventure PC games like Flashback and Another World, but with a Japanese flair. The core of the game is from Australian game maker Magnetic Realms with art, cutscenes, and music provided by legends of the 8 and 16-bit eras from Japan. I Would Rather Be In Exile Than Play This

I'm not going to rip on PS+ because they have some pretty good games once in awhile, but this is definitely not one of them. I gave this a shot, not because the graphics are nice, but because I have a Vita and I like platformers.

This game is a platformer but is also a steaming pile of dog crap. First off, when creating a game it's important to make the game fun. The devs for this game didn't succeed at all, it's not fun. I played for about 20 mins and everything was terrible.

First off, falling a slightly big drop hurts your character a lot. For a platformer you fall a lot and your health is not very much to start with. Also there are some half-assed plant/slime things that deal a lot of damage. Your weapon is a rock you throw with very poor physical trajectory at enemies with small hit boxes. Trying to hit the stupid plant/slime thing with a rock is really tough and not fun.

The music is really bad and sets the overall lame tone. To round out this garbage fest are the controls which I vaguely remember are not good.

All in all a pretty sad entry into video game history. Nothing redeeming at all. If I had to choose between this piece of crap or exile, I would choose exile (preferably on an island somewhere warm).
