Homestead Arcana is a surface level farm-life sim/adventure game that can be best described as a vegetable that is too misshapen to be sold in the grocery store on its own. Rather bound up with the other ‘rejects’ for a cheaper price. Farming is tedious and unintuitive, dungeon crawling get old quick. The game feels like it has no direction and the trend of making the sex of the character creation non binary is just ridiculous. I was hopeful for this game but the execution seems very amateur. Fortunately it was in Game Pass. I’d avoid it as it’s not worth your time.
