I played like one run before I felt de ja vu and opted out.
Between Slay the Spire and Monster Train and several others, I feel like this isn't the defining one in the genre and I'm going to move along.

Nowhere Prophet is so close to being a thumbs up for me and, frankly, after a few patches I think it definitely will be.
In it's current state, Nowhere Prophet is a game with a lot of great ideas but some underlying flaws that really prevent those ideas from getting to blossom.
The most notable of which is definitely the AI. There's amazing depth in this roguelike deckbuilder (ala Slay the Spire) with some interesting mechanics like permadeath for your individual cards, but none of that depth really ends up feeling like it matters when the enemies just randomly play spells and cards.
If you have a high tolerance for stuff like that by all means, pick this one up because you will extract some fun out of it.
Otherwise, keep a close eye on this one, I think it has the potential to be exceptional with some post launch updates.
For my full thoughts, check out the video review:
Un entretenido deckbuilding con gestión de caravana. Hay dos mazos, el de líder y el de caravana, y el segundo hay que tener cuidado que las cartas buenas no se mueran, porque se purgan del mazo. Tiene ideas interesantes pero partidas demasiado largas.

Each game is LONG but I want to strive to unlock the other stuff still
