A simple, fun game. You can't save in single player though. Best to play for 10 mins hot seat with a friend, but not much more.

Nidhogg is a short game. Even with repeated fun combats across screen, it's four stages with one style of combat. Still, it's quite engaging and definitely entertaining.

Featuring two players fencing and stabbing their way across several stages, the game features an intense back and forth mechanic that players will find incredibly enjoyable. It's a shame the game is so small, as there's a lot of room for gorgeous set-pieces and strange music. The gameplay is also incredibly original, but focuses on a singular style that can bore after awhile.

Nidhogg is best on a small sale - if you can nab it for a couple of bucks, it's a gorgeous multiplayer duel-fest that's worth your time. If not, well...wait for it.
