It's not perfect but it's amazing!

Call of Duty: Mobile brings the series' renowned multiplayer component to your phone exactly as you would find it on home consoles. This includes Battle Royale also. Really the only thing missing is a campaign and at the rate this game is growing they might even add one of those in the future. This is all very impressive from a technical standpoint. It has the audio and visual fidelity to match the tried-and-true gameplay. The touchscreen controls are fantastic, which is remarkable given how much the FPS genre has struggled on mobile devices.
The best part of all of this. It's free! Yes, there is monetization. And yes, Activision is in your face about it. However, it's all purely cosmetic. So outside of having to tap through a few adds every time you open the game up you can ignore the money grubbing aspect entirely if you so choose. There's not even a hint of pay-to-win and it's pretty good at handing out freebies through normal progression anyhow.
For the first time ever no matter where you are if you have internet access you can play Call of Duty. Not some trimmed down version either. Sans a campaign this is everything you would expect from one of the main entries on Playstation, Xbox, or PC and it won't cost you a single penny. An incredible feat that shatters previous notions of what mobile gaming can achieve and might be the best thing to happen to this series since Black Ops II.
