GEM doesn't really give you much of a reason to do well at this game besides the high score, which doesn't add a lot of replay value to me but it's also so chaotic that it's a lot of fun while it lasts. I like this level of difficulty because it's not punishing but you have to concentrate and will die a fair bit. The visuals aren't very exciting and levels consist of looping the same small areas over and over, but there are some environmental hazards to look out for (I wish it had more). Mostly though, it's just about using any of your weapons to smash enemies as quickly and stylishly as possible to add to the modifier and get more points. Music is decent too.

Another good, smaller (timed) exclusive for the Switch. Excellent to play as a handheld game as well.
