this game was pretty good!! but I have a few critiques.
This game was VERY linear, and yes I know this game is for 6 year olds, but I have played other game intended for younger audiences and they gave way more freedom. I really wish this game was more open-world, so you could explore the world of Bluey instead of following a plotline
This game was SHORT. this game had only 2 hours of gameplay for 40 dollars. so, not really worth the money for me.
The mechanics are a little annoying. The camera does not move with you and gets stuck often, so you can't see where you're going. Also, the jump mechanics are off. They're really slippery so you easily fall in the parkour sections.
But! There were many things good with this game!!
The message & atmosphere. This game certainly kept the cozy atmosphere of Bluey and humor! Also, the message at the ending was very Bluey, diving into something deeper in a kids media.
The music!! They kept the music from the episodes of the places you visited, so it really kept that Bluey atmostphere, which I really enjoyed.
Overall, this game was really good, …

Bluey: The videogame is a Pawsitively Delightful Experience! Embark on a charming holiday journey with Bluey and her family, filled with giggles. The game's vibrant and cuddly visuals capture the essence of the beloved animated series. You engage in a variety of mini-games that cater to players of all ages. The soundtrack is a delightful mix of tunes that perfectly complements the game's joyful atmosphere. The only con is the short playtime, some may find the adventure a tad brief, leaving you wanting more of Bluey's endearing world. In a nutshell, "Bluey the Videogame" is an irresistibly cute treat for fans and newcomers alike, offering a brief but utterly delightful escape into the lovable world of Bluey and her family.
If this were a $19.99 game I’d be far more generous in my review but for $39.99 and about 4 hours max of content (and that’s counting tedious sticker collection) this game felt more like a cash grab than anything else. It is good for kids, controls well, and mostly entertained my daughter, but it’s not worth the price tag.
To sum up, Bluey: The Videogame would be to say that a dad had a fun time playing this game with his kids. It may have been a short experience totaling up to a few hours for the story and all collectibles, but it is certainly a good time. My main feedback comes down to the length and nitpicky details like repeated dialog and camera controls when playing with multiple people. Overall, I can recommend this game for families of young kids (or fans of the show I suppose) that want to get together around their Xbox together for a few hours.
