Nothing much to say here. I enjoyed the story more than the last game, and it was about three times as long. I like the partner Pokémon and how you are able to swap them out at anytime. I had a hard time choosing which one to bring along since the ones the developers chose to represent each type were some of my favorites. Gen 4 is my gen 1. Shadows of Almia was actually the first Pokémon game I ever played when I was like 8. I don't remember much for it, and I definitely didn't get all the way to the end. The narrative here was more enticing than the previous ranger game, but the gameplay is pretty much the same. This game was easier than the original as you didn't have to complete all the loops in a single go. Other than this, the gameplay is much the same. I didn't 100% all the quests and extra stuff after the main story, but I had my fill of this game. I think after playing 2 mystery dungeons and 2 ranger games, I enjoy the mystery dungeon games more. The Ranger games aren't bad, but can get repetitive after long play sessions. Just one more Ranger game to go for me!

Even with the Wimmfi DNS, it looks like I won't be able to download the extra missions in this game. That's why I hate internet-block content... but I would hate it a bit lesser if I could download these missions.
